NEW YORK - Time to face the facts: Dave Chappelle’s hit Comedy Central series isn’t coming back, says one of its stars. “`Chappelle’s Show’ is over, man. Done,” comic Charlie Murphy told TV Guide. “It took me a long time to be able to say those words, but I can say it pretty easy now, because it’s the truth.”

Man, what the hell. This dude was the only reason I could think of to justify owning a TV. I don’t watch MTV, BET generally makes me a little angry, and I keep getting made fun of for only watching cartoons. Come on, Dave. Come on. I can’t think of a show as important since In Living Color or maybe Sanford and Son. Dave, we need you.

This is like Biggie or Pac dying or something. This is upsetting. I mean, it’s upsetting that Dave Chapelle was a kind of a role model to so many of us, but hell, he wasn’t all that bad. And all dramatising and joking aside, for real, when - post-In Living Color - was the last time we had a show that brought on real hip-hop, not boring cheesy garbage? Dude picked what he liked, and he walked out to Dead Prez, goddamnit. He walked out to Dead Prez.

I’m selling my TV, goddamnit.
