Okay, yeah – that’s what mirateck had told me. I’d really like to know what fueled that decision. Are New York people really that protective of their precious claim to rappidy rap originator fame that they’re unwilling to entertain the notion that maybe somewhere, somebody listens to rap not made on the East Coast?

I’d love somebody to enlighten me here, because this seems a little weird to me.

hahaha. okay, have you heard the other version too? like mirateck was saying that they’d switched up the lyrics to pull out the “everybody else was talking country”. I think dude told me on AIM but I forgot – what was the swapped lyric?

yeah man. Beewirks came with it on this track. and I’m glad people are appreciating the Sin track..it sometimes takes me a couple listens or so to really get into his tracks (with a few exceptions)

i like that version of country cousins better. in the LP version, Talib changes the line “..but we was talkin funny, everybody else was talkin country…”

that’s my favorite line, he shouldn’t have changed it.
