Chyeyeah. All y'all know what the deal is. It's your boy back with that fiyah or whatever the fuck the streets say when they have some fucking hype-ass music for you to ...

That's right.
Madlib, aka
Yesterday's New Quintet,
Jaylib, member of the
Lootpack, Madvillain, and
god damn this dude spends too much time making music. If you haven't heard of this dude yet, you either need to check the liner notes on your CDs because odds are you might have something he produced, or you need to just wake the hell up.
For those of you in the latter category, don't worry, I got you covered. I recently (okay, like two or three weeks ago) came across this unauthorized mixtape of some Madlib material, and, like everything I talk about on this site, ish is hot. Hip-hop, soul, funk, etc. Wait, rewiiind.

Story first.

hot damn. Well, I said I was gonna get you all some audio here on the
mixtape show, but I kinda lied. This time I'm gonna drop some video.
Hopefully you all out there are familiar with Madlib and Quasimoto, his helium-voiced counterpart. If you're not, well, today's a good day for you, because you about to find out.
First up is a video called "rappcats", which can be found
here. Just click on the video link in the top left corner. The general idea is that it shouts out damn near anybody that came out from the early 80s to the mid 90s, meaning it's a bunch of artists on there that I wasn't supposed to listen to back then. The movie is short as hell, but it'll have you bugging out over some crazy visual memory at least twice, I guarantee.
