I would like to officially present the new video component to the mixtape show. I know this is already the hottest hip-hop audio podcast in the suburbs right now, but I think the time has come for me to start flexing and run all these wack video kids out on they asses as well. To that end, then, here we go with the first officially sanctioned mixtape show video special.
This one comes from the dudes Money Waters (who, if I'm not mistaken, were also spoken of pretty highly by Mr. Blakes when ...

Thanks everyone for all the love on the last episode. We're well on our way to becoming the best fucking hip-hop podcast in history. I mean, we already are, but we're just waiting for everyone else (and also Google) to realize that. To thank you all for your dedication, though, I bring you this: the very first 80s hip-hop video review on a hip-hop podcast show EVER. check it...
I remember hearing a while back that Hulk Hogan had put out a rap record in the 80s or something, but this is much much better.
Apparently during the 80s rap craze, which is sort of like the 2000s hate-on-people-of-color craze but with less illegal imprisonment of US citizens, someone, somewhere, decided that it would be a good idea for Mr. T to start rapping.

I mean, okay, I'm not saying that Mr. T shouldn't rap. Dude was in A-Team, he can do whatever the fuck he wants. But yeah, turns out that he made a music video, which you can watch
here.
So watch the video, and come back. More after the jump.

hot damn. Well, I said I was gonna get you all some audio here on the
mixtape show, but I kinda lied. This time I'm gonna drop some video.
Hopefully you all out there are familiar with Madlib and Quasimoto, his helium-voiced counterpart. If you're not, well, today's a good day for you, because you about to find out.
First up is a video called "rappcats", which can be found
here. Just click on the video link in the top left corner. The general idea is that it shouts out damn near anybody that came out from the early 80s to the mid 90s, meaning it's a bunch of artists on there that I wasn't supposed to listen to back then. The movie is short as hell, but it'll have you bugging out over some crazy visual memory at least twice, I guarantee.
